About half of the Arkansas middle and high school respondents to a recent survey reported they are routinely without adult supervision after school but would consider participating in after-school activities if offered, according to a study by the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock. Seven apply for position of ASD superintendent (The Arkadelphia Daily Siftings Herald)

Seven people have applied for the superintendent's position in the Arkadelphia School District. The position was vacated last month when the school board voted to buy out former superintendent Dr. Stan Miller's contract.
