New county sheriff's deputy (Hope Star)

completes certification class Marla Salisbury, of Hope, was named as a Hempstead County deputy, after her graduation, on June 20, at the South Arkansas University Tech Gymnasium. Salisbury was a graduate of Hope High School and has two children, Joseph and Justin Triplett.
