SIX JOIN POLICE DEPARTMENT (Pine Bluff Commercial)

Six new officers were added to the force Monday by the Pine Bluff Police Department to fill existing vacancies. Lt. Bob Rawlinson said the department?s recruiting drive, which began Jan. 1, has been successful as 14 new officers have joined the department in that time period.

The Pine Bluff Police Department?s 2008 ?Recruiting Drive? is paying dividends. Today six new officers were hired. Since January 1st, 2008 fourteen new officers have been hired, counting the six today.
